“Computers are incredibly fast, accurate and stupid; humans are incredibly slow, inaccurate and brilliant; together they are powerful beyond imagination.”
Albert Einstein
Obviously this is still up for debate whether we should build web apps or native apps. We can see that the focus started to shift from native to web apps during the early 2000s. Native apps became burning hot again when smartphones become so popular. I personally prefer web apps over natives because of the minimum time we need for cross platform compatibilities. The hardware on the mobile devices are capable of running heavy client scripts smoothly. Server applications can be extremely fast if it is written is light weight platforms such as nodejs. While the debate may go on for a while longer, let's keep moving forward and get ourselves ready for both native and web developments.
Work in progress! Some codes need to be abstracted out. I stumble across this js library CreateJS/EaselJs. I am impressed with the time that took me to build for what I have so far! Back then I need to write my own code to create the game cycles as well as handling the graphics frames. To utilize this library, I don't have to worry about that. This game I chose to use OOP with JavaScript ( source code in view.js ). A lot better graphics as well as sounds effects are pending to come.
It's been a very long time since I last wrote anything on my other blogs. I am so excited about new personal web page and I have so much goodies waiting to be implemented. Stay tuned! By the way, meet my princess as well as my favorite model, Ellie (top left corner).
